| Finger painting at the Park |
For this activity, I wanted to teach my kids that leaves come in all colors and so we mixed blue and yellow finger paint and then went on a hike to find leaves. On our adventure, we found bluish holly leaves all the way to yellow-green ginko leaves. The lesson was that not all leaves are green and we matched the found leaves to the colors on the finger painting.
